Brassards and Brassard Penholders

We manufacture a range of Brassards and Penholders in "Woolly Pully" Patch and Combat Kit Material.

Plain Brassards (Catalogue Ref. BR)
These are available designed for Regimental insignia, or flashes. They can be made to order in either Olive Green, DPM or Reversible Brassards (Catalogue Ref. BRR), i.e. a combination of Olive Green, Black and DPM.

Armband Penholders (Catalogue Ref. PH)
These Penholders attach to the epaulette of the old style Combat Jacket, Coveralls or the "Woolly Pully" and fit around the arm. Each holds five Pens with an additional pocket for a Black Horse Field Notebook, or Wallet covered with a Velcro fastened flap. They are available in Olive Green and DPM from stock. The above Penholders can be modified as required, e.g. long flap as used by The Royal Tank Regiments.

Also available is the:

The Small Patch Penholder (Catalogue Ref. PP)
This is intended to be sewn on to the Military Pullover and is made from the same Cotton/Polyester mix material used for the patches It is designed to hold three pens and is available only in Olive Green.

Phone/Magellan/GPS Case

This padded waterproof case has been designed by us to carry the larger types of Mobile Telephones and Magellan/GPS systems. We also make a smaller padded case for the small modern mobile telephones.

Phones and map systems can be carried in the cases securely, safely and unobtrusively when in uniform. Elastic loops are provided for fitting to belts.

Rucksack Covers

The Black Horse Rucksack Cover made to cover the PLC, 100lt and 35lt civilian Rucksacks are manufactured from proofed disruptive pattern material. It has a double use, not only as a camouflage covering for coloured or olive green rucksacks, but also as a waterproof covering which stops already heavy rucksacks from becoming waterlogged and consequently even heavier.

They are available in three sizes:

Standard (Catalogue Ref. RSCS) for PLC and 100lt Rucksacks.

Royal Marine (Catalogue Ref. RSCRM) for use with a fully packed battle rucksack.

Small (Catalogue Ref. RSC35) for 35lt rucksacks.

Combat Belts

The Black Horse Combat Belt has been specially designed to be worn with combat trousers. It is made from a tough, hard wearing Olive Green 4cm wide webbing and is fastened by Velcro for speed and efficiency.

Available in four sizes:
Small: 28”-32” ( 71-81cm) Medium: 32”-36” (81-91cm ) Large: 36”-40” (91-102cm) Ex Large: 40”-44” (102-112cm)

DPM Watchstrap

The original Black Horse Replacement Watch Strap which we have designed to protect either a slim-line watch or the G1098 Military Watch which have removable straps. The Velcro fastening ensures that the strap fits quickly, comfortably and securely on all sizes of wrist. It is made from heavy duty regulation combat camouflage material to survive the rigors of military training exercises and energetic sports and is suitable for all occasions where a watch needs full protection.

No service personnel should be without this practical and serviceable addition to their combat kit.
